Strategic Plan
This strategic plan describes the goals and objectives of the Chapter in 2020-2030 which help increase the representation of the Latino, Latina and multicultural groups in leadership roles. The goals and metrics ensure the participation of individuals and organizations that foster culturally inclusive professional opportunities in the healthcare industry and promotes the education and acknowledgement of health care disparities within our community.
Mission
Founded in 2005, the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE) organizational purpose of this organization is to provide a framework to bring together Latino/Latina and multicultural healthcare leaders and professionals, early careerists, students, local industry experts, community stakeholders, partners, sponsors, and affiliates as a group to meet, discuss, and influence factors which affect the representation of Latino/Latina and multicultural individuals in healthcare leadership roles locally and regionally; to foster greater participation in the advancement of diversity and inclusion and health equity initiatives at a local level.
Vision
The DFW Chapter of NALHE offers:

Strengthen our Foundation: Goal to achieve long term success by developing successful programming to enhance education, leadership opportunities, partnerships, sponsorships, and developing a platform of a well respected organization in the community.

Strategic Partnerships: Goal to reach out and establish partnerships with community stakeholders to include universities, healthcare groups, and Hispanic organizations (e.g., TWU, UTD, NAHN, NAHSE, ACHE, Prospanica DFW, Dallas Mayor’s Council: Alianza and Tarrant County Commissioner etc.)

Care Transformation: Goal to partner with Dallas and Fort Worth to address the growing health disparities of the current Hispanic population. This includes work to be done in the pandemic and the needs addressed in Community Needs Health Assessment. Our transformation is in our servant leadership.
