Crystal Landeros serves as co-chair of the Education & Activities Committee for the NAHLE WI Chapter. In addition, she sits as an active member on the NAHLE Policy Committee which is working on the organization’s policies that serve as a guide for our work.

Crystal Landeros serves as the Coordinator Community Health for the Greater MKE Area with Aurora Health Care providing support in the areas of community health needs assessments, community health implementation strategies, and community benefit work as well as acts as a community liaison to work with internal & external partners in addressing community needs via initiative-led work. She has been with the organization since August 2021 and brings 12 years’ experience in public health with a strong emphasis on health equity including in the areas of maternal & infant health, breast & cervical cancer prevention, heart health, diabetes education, tobacco prevention in the Hispanic/Latino community, access to healthcare, food insecurity, and more.

Originally from New Mexico, she has been a resident of Milwaukee since 2015. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New Mexico State University and graduated top honors. She has been a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) since 2015. She was recently accepted to the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Doctorate in Public Health program to further advance her career in public health.
