Phillip Shaffer is a mid-careerist with over 10 years of progressive healthcare experience in customer relations, process improvement, and strategic planning with a strong passion for problem solving and improving the customer and patient experience.

In his current role as Regional Director for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), he is responsible for advancing organizational goals through outreach and engagement of key stakeholders and oversees 35 chapters with over 18,000 members across 22 states.

Prior to joining ACHE, he was the manager of customer relations at The Joint Commission, and worked in other various healthcare roles with Indiana University Health and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a former National Baldrige examiner.
