Graciela Medina is an accomplished healthcare professional with over 15 years of experience, currently serving as Quality Coordinator at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in accreditation and licensing, overseeing daily hospital operations to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards. Recently, she achieved a significant milestone by earning her Master’s in Public Health from UCLA’s Executive Program in Health Policy and Management. A reflection of her remarkable journey as a first-generation college student, daughter of immigrant parents, single mother of two, and a three-time cancer survivor.

Graciela has held key roles at Keck Medical Center of USC and the Ronald McDonald Charity House of Los Angeles, focusing on patient care and regulatory compliance. She earned her bachelor’s degree in public health from California State University, Los Angeles, and associate degrees from Pasadena City College.

In addition to her professional work, Graciela volunteers as a cuddler in the NICCU at CHLA, providing comfort and support to newborns and their families. Her personal journey has profoundly inspired her to advocate for others, particularly in shaping the next generation of Latino leaders while making a lasting impact on patients and their families.
