Adam Hugo Mejia

Programming Chair

Adam Hugo Mejia serves as a Performance Improvement Project Manager at Stanford Health Care. In his role on the Service Excellence team within the Patient Experience division, I drive strategic, data-based initiatives focused on enhancing patient, physician, and staff experiences by leveraging both digital and non-digital solutions. I collaborate across functions to develop and manage projects, ensuring alignment with our goals of improved care and customer satisfaction. My work involves analyzing feedback and outcomes, managing project execution, and innovating processes to continually raise the standard of care at Stanford Health Care.

Prior to working at Stanford Health Care, Adam worked for UCLA Health where he was an operation manager for ambulatory practices with the Geffen School of Medicine and Faculty Practice Group with UCLA Health. He worked other various roles as an operations supervisor and an Administrative Specialist working along with specialties and being the project coordinator for various specialties in Westwood.

Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science and Community Health from Cal State University, Northridge. He got his master’s degree in Healthcare Management and his master’s degree in Business Administration from the California State University, Los Angeles. When he lived in Los Angeles he was involved with the SoCal NAHLE chapter, American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Early Careerist Committee. Now he volunteers with committees from California Associations of Healthcare Leaders (ACHE in NorCal) and sits on the board of the Northern California chapter of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE).
