Frank Hurtarte is a proven human resource executive with the ability to innovate and lead results-driven teams in large matrix, multi-state & multi-billion-dollar organizations. Frank Hurtarte functions as a strategic partner to executives and leaders at all levels.

As a member of the National Human Resource leadership team he currently serves as the Vice President Human Resources – Northwest Region. Northwest Region consists of multiple Medical Centers, Hospital Networks, Ambulatory and Corporate operations. Overall responsibility for leading and delivering national and regional human resource strategy & delivery.
In this role, Frank led a large matrix organization of HR leaders responsible for delivering labor relations, employee relations, organizational development, talent management, leadership development, compensation, disability management and M&A solutions for a population of more than 15,000 employees across the healthcare system generating $3 billion in revenue. Proud to be one of the highest ranking Latino leaders across the Kaiser Permanente program.
Frank has a master’s degree in organizational development from the University of San Francisco, and a bachelor’s in management from St. Mary’s College. He is married to Dana Hurtarte and they have three children: Kaitlyn, 21; Cole, 19; and Ethan, 16. In his spare time he likes to volunteer in the community, watch his children play sports and relax with family.
