Meredith Duncan, Executive Director of Seton Health Alliance and its pediatric  sibling, Dell Children’s Health Alliance will provide an overview of these two clinically integrated networks and their approach to delivering coordinated care throughout Central Texas.  Creation of the Alliances was motivated, in part, by the state of the nation’s fragmented and inefficient healthcare delivery  system.

Seton Health Alliance’s and Dell Children’s  Health Alliance’s team of doctors, hospitals and other health  care providers believe that patients deserve the best value possible in health care.  Meredith will describe the key elements  of a clinically integrated network and how this new “accountable care” approach differs from that of Health Maintenance Organizations.  She will provide information about the governance, structure and operation of Seton Health Alliance and  Dell Children’s Health Alliance, and address collaborations with insurers such as United Healthcare, Aetna  and Medicare.
